Sometimes decision fatigue sets in and you just don’t know what to do for Lent. I am here to help if you are feeling overwhelmed by life and not quite ready to commit to “doing” one thing for the entire Lenten Season.
I love buffets, the idea of being able to sample a little of this and a little of that all for the same price as one item makes me so happy. I am able to experience the adventure of discovering something new without the risk of offending the chef if I really don’t like what I order. Buffets also give you the opportunity to binge on something you know you love.
If you like options as much as I do, try working your way through the 40 Way for 40 Days I created.
There are things on here that I know will stretch me and push me out of my comfort zone (hello cleaning the kitchen immediately after dinner and wearing only two pairs of shoes for a week). There are also things I know I will really enjoy like strategically placing encouraging notes on cars in the Trader Joe’s parking lot.
So, grab a friend and see if y’all can work your way through the list together.
Download your list of 40 Ways for 40 Days. Feel free to share this with anyone you think might enjoy sampling some new spiritual practices.
Let me know what you think in the comments below. What ideas did I miss? What have you done for Lent in the past which has impacted your soul and your walk with Jesus?
